It's Reggae Month & New Wave is back!

Check out #downdiroadLIVE - NEW WAVE right here!Described as a "creative platform for emerging local talents," New Wave will be held every Monday night in February at The Cove Restaurant and Bar on Winchester Road in Kingston. The first staging was held on Monday February 5th & downdiroad.com was in the building!

Dubbed as 'Music Night' it was a great first staging, and the vibe was right! Dj Drumline & Dj Stamma were in charge of the musical selections for the night, but to my surprise here was also a special closing set from international dj Becca Dudley straight out of the UK! On the performance side of things, we had the young star Koffee kick off the proceedings with a rousing performance. At just 17 years old, believe me she is one to look out for. Agent Sasco rolled through as well and as expected, he shelledd it down with a mixture of old and new hits!
